Grace-Evangeline Mason is a composer based in the UK. Since winning the 2013 BBC Proms Young Composer's competition for her piece 'Convergence', her music has been commissioned by festivals such as the BBC Proms, broadcast on BBC radios 3 and 4 as well as performed at venues both across the UK and internationally. She has worked with ensembles and artists such as the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, London Early Opera, the Aurora Orchestra and the Royal Northern Sinfonia amongst others. Recently, Mason wrote a work for the London Symphony Orchestra as part of their Panufnik Scheme and she is the recipient of awards including the Rosamond Prize (2016), the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra's Christopher Brooks Prize (2017) and the prestigious Royal Philharmonic Society Composition Prize (2018).
