Specially commissioned classical Song Cycle to commemorate Manchester’s 100 yrs of war and peace featuring ten songs by ten composers, including Grace-Evangeline Mason’s ‘Kite Song’. It will commemorate Manchester’s place in world history during war and peace time. The song cycle will include poetry by Simon Armitage and Wilfred Owen who was in the Manchester Regiment and the narrative will be story lined by Manchester poet Tony Walsh and Caroline Clegg.
