Annually, the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) and the Manchester Writing School run a collaborative competition which culminates in a concert demonstrating the works of both composition and literature students called the Rosamond Prize. I am pleased my work 'SAMSON' was performed and subsequently won the Rosamond Prize 2016.

Last night my new piece for harp quartet, 'Peach Blossom Garden', was performed in the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) Chamber Music Festival 2016. The festival was influenced by Mendelssohn’s ‘songs without words’ and therefore ‘Peach Blossom Garden’, like the Mendelssohn, focuses on the creation of imagery.

Recently I had the pleasure of conducting my short work 'Per Aspera Ad Astra' for SA choir and large ensemble in St John's Smith Square, London. The piece was commissioned by the Girl's Day School Trust (GDST) to celebrate their wealth of talented students from their schools across the country in the final of The GDST Young Musician and Vocalist of the Year Award competition.
